Licensed contractor serving Wake Forest.
Low voltage, alarm, fire alarm, and managed IT services for the Wake Forest area in northern Wake County.
Wake Forest’s commercial growth runs along Capital Boulevard retail, the light industrial off Highway 1, and the historic downtown around White Street. Militech International serves it from our Cary base.
Three building types, three different jobs
Wake Forest is a useful illustration of why “commercial contractor” is a broad term.
The Capital Boulevard retail is mostly newer construction and franchise fit-out. That work is schedule-driven and specification-driven: the tenant frequently arrives with a national standard dictating the cabling, the panel, and sometimes the vendor, and the job is executing it correctly and on time rather than designing it. The interesting part is the coordination, because a franchise opening date is set long before the building is ready and does not move.
The light industrial off Highway 1 is the opposite. Long runs, high bays, lift work, and a cable plant that has to tolerate dust, temperature swings, and being hit by things. Devices need to be located where they will not get destroyed by a forklift, which is a question of where work actually happens rather than where the drawing puts them.
Downtown around White Street is old, small, and occupied, with the pathway problems that always come with that.
Distance and honesty about it
Wake Forest is roughly forty-five minutes from Cary depending on traffic on 540, and we would rather be straightforward about what that means. For scheduled work, installs, fit-outs, and ITM inspections, it makes no difference. For emergency service, it means we are not fifteen minutes away, and if that is your primary requirement there may be a contractor closer to you who serves you better.
Where we tend to be the right answer in northern Wake is for customers who want one contractor across multiple sites, or who need both the trade licenses and the IT side from the same company rather than coordinating two vendors.
What we do here
New commercial fit-outs, alarm and access control, fire alarm install and ITM, and ongoing managed IT, cybersecurity, and web services. Both NC trade licenses are current and verifiable through the state.
