Dental Practice Websites
Full-stack website design, hosting, and support for dental practices, HIPAA-aware, ADA-compliant, and integrated with your PMS and patient tools.
We build and maintain websites for dental practices across North Carolina: general dentistry, orthodontics, endodontics, periodontics, pediatric dentistry, and oral surgery. This page covers how the engagement works. If you want the full pitch, portfolio, and integration matrix, the dental practice page has it.
Why a dental site is not a generic small-business site
A dental practice website lives inside a specific regulatory and integration environment, and that is the whole reason this is a separate service line rather than a variant of our general web services.
HIPAA governs how patient data moves. The moment a form collects anything more specific than a name and a preferred callback time, you are making decisions about PHI, and those decisions need to be deliberate rather than inherited from a page-builder template. Accessibility is enforced, not aspirational: dental practices get named in ADA complaints regularly, and WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard those complaints are measured against. Your site also has to talk to systems you already run: a practice management system, a scheduler, a review platform, an insurance verifier. And local SEO drives new-patient acquisition in a way it simply does not for most businesses, because patients search by proximity and pick from the first handful of results.
A generic web shop is not set up for any of that. They will build you something attractive that fails an accessibility audit, leaks form data through a third-party script nobody reviewed, and does not connect to Dentrix.
What we build
The marketing site itself: services, team, new-patient information, insurance and financing, location and hours. Patient-facing UX that assumes someone is on a phone, in a hurry, possibly in pain, and deciding in under a minute whether to call you.
Integrations with the practice management system you already use, including Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, Curve Dental, and Denticon. Patient scheduling and communication through Zocdoc, Weave, Solutionreach, and NexHealth. Online booking and insurance verification where your stack supports it.
Accessibility to WCAG 2.1 AA at launch rather than as a retrofit, because retrofitting accessibility into a finished site costs more than building it in and usually produces a worse result. Structured data and Google Business Profile configuration so the practice shows up correctly in local results and map packs.
How the work is structured
Pricing is a one-time build fee plus a monthly retainer. The build fee covers design, content structure, integration work, and launch. The retainer covers hosting, security patching, content updates, analytics, and ongoing SEO maintenance.
We are deliberate about the retainer because a dental site is not a project that ends. Insurance relationships change, hygienists come and go, a second location opens, an integration vendor changes an API, a browser update breaks something subtle. A site nobody maintains degrades quietly for a year and then costs a rebuild. The retainer is what keeps that from happening.
HIPAA, honestly
We describe our architecture as HIPAA-aware rather than HIPAA-certified, because HIPAA certification is not a thing that exists for websites. There is no body that certifies a marketing site as HIPAA compliant, and any vendor telling you otherwise is selling something. What we can do is make the data flows deliberate: know what each form collects, know where it goes, keep PHI out of systems that should not hold it, and use a business associate agreement where one is actually required. If your site needs to handle PHI directly, we will tell you what that changes about the hosting and the cost rather than quietly hand-waving it.
The rest of the practice
Most dental work we do stops at the website. But we are also a licensed low-voltage and alarm contractor, so if the practice needs cabling, access control, or IT support, that is the same company and the same point of contact. Practices opening a new location tend to find that useful. Practices that just need a better website should feel free to ignore it entirely.
