Greensboro anchors the Triad: Cone Health and the surrounding medical district, the manufacturing and logistics base around PTI airport, and the downtown professional services core. Militech International serves it as part of our broader Triad coverage.

Logistics buildings are their own discipline

The distribution and manufacturing space around PTI is the work that most distinguishes Greensboro from the Triangle, and it is not office work with higher ceilings. It is a different set of problems.

Scale changes the math. Cable runs in a large distribution building routinely approach the 100-meter copper limit, which means the design question is not what cable to use but where the IDF goes, and getting that wrong is not correctable later without pulling everything again. Fiber backbone between distribution frames stops being an upgrade and becomes the only workable topology.

High-bay fire alarm is genuinely hard. Detection response degrades as ceiling height increases, notification in a large reflective space does not follow office rules, and the design has to be done rather than pattern-matched from the last job.

And the environment is unforgiving. Dust, temperature swings in unconditioned space, vibration, and material handling equipment that will eventually hit anything mounted at working height. Devices go where they survive, not where the drawing put them, and the lower runs get physical protection.

Healthcare

The Cone Health medical district is the opposite constraint: occupied, sensitive, and procedural. Infection control, coordinated shutdowns, interim life safety measures when a device is out of service, and documentation standards that most commercial work never approaches. For medical office buildings and the professional stock around the district, we are a good fit.

Distance, honestly

Greensboro is roughly an hour and a half from Cary. For planned work, installs, fit-outs, and ITM, that is a non-issue. For same-hour emergency response it is, and we would rather say so than have you find out during an outage. Our best Triad customers are multi-site operations that value one contractor and one standard across Greensboro, Winston-Salem, and High Point more than they value proximity.

What we do here

New commercial cabling and AV, alarm and access control installation, fire alarm install and ITM, and ongoing managed IT, cybersecurity, and web services. Both NC trade licenses are current and verifiable through the state.
