Charlotte Metro
Licensed contractor serving Charlotte.
Commercial low voltage, alarm, fire alarm, and managed IT services for Charlotte, covering Uptown, SouthEnd, Ballantyne, and the surrounding metro.
Charlotte is North Carolina’s largest commercial market: banking and financial services in Uptown, the rapid mid-rise growth of SouthEnd and NoDa, the corporate parks of Ballantyne and Lake Norman, and a constant flow of new commercial construction across the metro.
Who we are actually for in Charlotte
We should be direct about this, because a service area page that pretends distance does not exist is not useful to anyone.
Charlotte is about two and a half hours from our Cary base. We are not the right contractor for a Charlotte customer who needs someone on site in an hour, and there are a lot of good Charlotte contractors who are. If emergency response time is your binding constraint, hire local.
Where we are genuinely the right answer is multi-site. If you have Triangle and Charlotte operations, coordinating two separate contractors means two standards, two labeling schemes, two report formats, two invoicing relationships, and a running argument about why the Charlotte site was done differently. One contractor across both ends solves a problem that is organizational rather than technical, and it is a problem that gets worse the more sites you add.
The same applies to scheduled work. ITM inspections, planned installs, fit-outs, and rollouts are all planned weeks ahead, and on planned work our distance is irrelevant.
High-rise is a different trade
Uptown and the SouthEnd mid-rise stock bring constraints the Triangle mostly does not have. Riser work, freight elevator scheduling, union and trade-coordination rules on larger jobs, building engineers with their own standards you must work to, and after-hours access procedures that make an unplanned visit genuinely difficult.
The pathway politics in a Class A tower are also real. Risers are shared, and space in them is allocated. You do not simply add a run because the tenant asked. Knowing that before you quote is the difference between a job that goes to plan and one that stops on day two.
What we do here
Structured cabling and AV infrastructure, alarm and access control, fire alarm install and inspection under NC license SP.FA/LV.38826, and ongoing managed IT, cybersecurity, and web services.
For multi-site customers with both Triangle and Charlotte operations, we are the same contractor on both ends, working to the same standard.
